I LOVE this....I love anything red - love the passion and the balance in the color - and I really love this piece...something about it really struck me.

These look great! I wish I could paint. The photos really show off the work well too, with the lighting catching the the brush strokes and emphasizing and looking very painterly.

Very beautiful! Is Bilma the person who owned the poppy or a variety of poppy?

Bilma, prounounced Vilma is my best friend. She moved from here a few years ago. She has the first poppy....she is a big fan of mine...and actually I owe a lot to her for encouraging me to continue with the art!

I love the "mimicking" or reflection of red in the background at the bottom. Insightful.
